The checkbox starts unchecked. The button remains disabled until the user opts in.

How users opt in

  1. The user opens the Payzio mobile app and chooses to create an account or verify a new mobile number.
  2. The user enters their own mobile number.
  3. The user reads the disclosure above and actively selects the unchecked SMS consent box.
  4. The user taps “Send verification code.” Payzio then sends the requested one-time code.
